I made it!

My dear cult followers-
I have made it to Athens! The flights were great across the board. Nice and smooth, always a plus. We had to take a cab from the airport to our hostel which was slightly on the more expensive side. The cabi drove like a pissed off teenager, but so did everyone else. It was crazy. The girl working behind the front desk was frmo Portland, OR and very friendly. We had our welcome shots at the bar and each bought a drink and are on our way to pass out because we have not slept in many hours. I did manage to grab a fews hours of sleep in the Dublin airport on a few chairs and then a bench. Athens appears to be beautiful so far. The plan for tomorrow is to go down the street to the local market and buy enough food for a picnic, which we will eat in the main square a block from here. Then we are going to venture over to the parthenon. I think we also plan to head out to a Greek Island for day at a beach durring our stay here. Internet in this hostel is free so I'll try to make one more entry before we leave.

Also, the bartender is playing music straight out of the 90s. It's a rockin' party over here.
