Goodbye Athens!
We are departing from Athens in a little while. Kent and Maggie are still preping the functions to head out so I grabed a computer while it was available. We are going to walk to the market for some bread and cheese and then take a train to a place I can do no justice in spelling. From there we have a few hours to kill then our ferry for Bari leaves at 6 and is overnight. Upon arrival in Bari we still have a few hours to kill before a train to Rome. I'm going to see if I can find a camera store or something so I can document Italy and everything else. I may not be able to log onto the internet until Sunday, which means you will have to wait in suspense for me to tell more tales of travel.

Yay, Jake! You're headed to Italy. Sounds like you had a great time in Greece. Can't wait to hear about Rome!
ReplyDeleteHi Jake - Kent's Uncle Stu and Aunt Ann are also following your adventures. I tried to "paste" a longer message into the comment box, but my browser won't let it happen, so we emailed it to Kent at - kent(dot)mccann(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteHave fun! Stu
Jake, great job posting. We're having a ton of fun following your progress. Thanks for the effort, and keep having fun. Thom
ReplyDeleteHey buddy,
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't posted a comment in awhile. I ended up being admitted to the hospital at 31 weeks pregnant b/c my diva little girl was trying to come too early. So know I am in "club med" high risk unit in the hospital trying to stay off my feet and let her "cook" a little longer. All is well right now, but I miss my little guy Ryan :-)
Sounds like you are having a blast. I loved Italy. Try to make it to Lake Como if you can and tell George Coolney I say hi!!
Love,
Tina
I'm truly envious - wish I were with you guys! Italy will be a blast! Take lots of pics! Oma & Opa saw this post, too (and actually they've seen all of them) - I read it to them from my Q while in Rindge this past weekend!
ReplyDeleteSay hello to Julius Caesar please! Sounds like you are having a blast; though am a little worried about all these ladies of ill repute! Hope you bring the new wife by the high school when you get back home! LOL! Cannot wait to read of your next adventures. Hello to Kent and Maggie, and don't jump off a moving train!
